You may also be referred to our clinic specifically for evaluation of any suspicious lesions. As a periodontist, Dr. Brancheau received additional training in identifying and treating oral pathology, and performs limited soft tissue biopsy services.
We will take clinical photos, discuss your treatment options, and if a biopsy is recommended we submit specimens to the University of Washington for diagnosis. For processing you will just need a copy of your dental and medical insurances cards that we will submit to UW Pathology on your behalf. Results are obtaining with 1-2 weeks and we will discuss the results with you and review any future care and treatment needs.
